What are the Causes of Heart Valve Diseases?

Congenital ones may occur due to genetic and environmental factors during the development of the baby in the womb. 
Those of rheumatic origin are among the most acquired diseases. 
It may cause some problems in the valves due to frequent throat infections during childhood. 
However, some viruses and bacteria in the body can settle in the relevant area and cause the disease called infective endocarditis. 
Another acquired disease is degenerative heart valve disease. In this case, there is calcification in the relevant area. 
Another reason that may cause these diseases is trauma such as traffic accidents and falling from a height.
