Symptoms of Heart Attack
The most common and obvious symptom of a heart attack is pain in the chest area. Pain that causes a feeling of pressure in the rib cage can spread to the shoulder, abdomen, jaw and back area. This feeling of pain usually lasts for 15 minutes.
The feeling of pain that occurs before the attack can be relieved or relieved by rest and taking medications that dilate the veins. In some cases, the pain occurs during rest and is not relieved by medication. These long-lasting pains in the chest area have a higher risk of causing a crisis. For this reason, pain that occurs during rest and continues for more than 15 minutes should be taken seriously and one should seek medical attention without delay or call 112 and request an ambulance.
Although pain in the chest area is the most common symptom, this symptom may also be accompanied by fatigue, nausea, shortness of breath, headache, feeling of distress and heart rhythm disturbances.
